★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled across this cool and trendy place and I'm glad! Had all of the sake cocktails and lots of different alcoholic beverages, as well as ordering beef and salmon tempura. Fantastic! Staff were great too!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cosy, tasty food. We went at about 7ish and it was very full so we had to sit at the counter. They were very nice about us bringing in a stroller. We did have to chase for some of the food we ordered, and in the end we decided to leave as the server was very nice but pushed to cover all the tables. If you want to go book ahead of time and don't be afraid to gently remind about dishes.

Good wagyu tempura and curry beef noodles.
Friendly service but dessert served without having retired all the previous dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The small plates were quite good and the beer was excellent. However, DO NOT order the Kobe beef. It was an expensive mistake. They took quite some time to prepare it but it was cold when we got it. The beef was rather chewy and not the usual “melt in your mouth” quality that high quality Japanese beef usually entails. Especially for the price. Look for places that grade their beef as Wagyu A3-A5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and atmosphere were excellent. A lot of variety to choose from. We enjoyed our dinner and returning again. I visited other restaurants in Pontocho Alley and they were all pretentious, charging clients a cover fee to eat at the establishment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tempora beef and vegetables (peppers and egg plate) where all great. Along with 2 beers and a a large sale between us (the sweet one is recommended)and it came to ¥4000 which I think is good value considering it's a very touristy area. I will be going back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting menu with match beer and beef tempura. Some hit and misses. The pork belly tempura and grilled mackerel was tasty, matcha beer was more of a novelty. Nice environment but prices on the high side.
