★ ★ ★ ★ ★ レトロな場所ですが、本当は新しい。無人駅ですが、土日は天理教関係のお偉いさんの知り合いが、レストランを開いています。車庫にたまに列車が入っている事もあります。朝夕はそれなりに乗降客がいます。草竹の従業員の方のようです。三輪神社に行くには便利です。本数が少ないので、帰りの時刻を確認しておかないと、一時間待ちという事もありますが、この駅のあるJR桜井線は奈良の素敵な観光地を網羅しています。
It's a retro place, but it's really new. It's an unmanned station, but on Saturdays and Sundays, an acquaintance of a great Tenrikyo-related person opens a restaurant. Sometimes there are trains in the garage. There are some passengers in the morning and evening. It seems to be an employee of Kusatake. It is convenient to go to Miwa Shrine. Since the number of trains is small, you may have to wait for an hour if you do not check the return time, but the JR Sakurai Line, where this station is located, covers all the wonderful sightseeing spots in Nara.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔この辺りに住んでいましたが、その頃の駅舎は薄汚かったですが、何処と無く味がありましたよ?? もっと昔には、ここから貨物列車で木材が搬出されていたそうです。よ〜く観察してみてください、その痕跡が今も残っていますよ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京終（きょうばて）JR万葉まほろば線（桜井線）の奈良駅の「隣の駅」にあたる小さな駅。2019年2月には、明治時代の開業当初の姿に改修。新しくも風情のある駅舎に生まれ変わっています。待合には流行りのストリートピアノがありますが、乗降客が少ないので、ギャラリーがいないところで存分に弾きたい方にはお勧めです。
A small station corresponding to the “next door station” of Nara Station on the Kyoto Manyo Mahoroba Line (Sakurai Line). In February 2019, it was renovated to its original appearance in the Meiji period. It has been reborn into a new and elegant station building. There is a trendy street piano in the waiting area, but there are few passengers, so it is recommended for those who want to play without a gallery.

とても綺麗な雰囲気でした。
平城京の南東の端だから、“京終”ということらしいです。
改札横に、とても素敵なカフェがあります。
