ち	ちゃん玲衣 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京都のおみやげと言えば色々なものがありますが、この京バームはオススメです。北海道産の小麦、宇治抹茶、豆乳に使われてる大豆も京都産と素材からこだわった一品です。一つ一つの商品に焼き上げた担当者の名前が入っており気合い入れ方が伺えます。このバームクーヘンは抹茶生地の間に豆乳生地を挟み込んでおり、また外回りは深みのある抹茶フォンダンが施されてます。保管は室温で大丈夫なのでおみやげとして持ち運びも安心です。箱の中には切り分けが出来る様にナイフ(プラスチック製)が同封されているのも有り難いです。 There are many kinds of souvenirs from Kyoto, but this Kyoto balm is recommended. Wheat from Hokkaido, Uji matcha, and soybeans used in soy milk are also made from Kyoto and are carefully selected. The name of the person in charge of baking is included in each product, and you can see how to get enthusiastic about it. This Baumkuchen has soy milk dough sandwiched between matcha dough, and the outer circumference is decorated with deep matcha fondant. It can be stored at room temperature, so it is safe to carry as a souvenir. I am grateful that a knife (made of plastic) is enclosed in the box so that it can be separated.

Lovely packaging, fantastic aroma, but given they only have two locations in Kyoto, it tasted more... commercial than I expected it to. -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

O	Or Glazer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique sponge cake you'll find in Kyoto. about arrive at closer time as the ice cream part is closed and you won't get to see how they carve the cake. You have only option to buy a whole cake and some cool cookies. We enjoyed their taste of both of them and although it was big. We took the cake a day after to the park and it was still fresh so don't worry about it. Enjoy!!!

It is one of Kyoto’s popular souvenirs and this outlet even offers soft serve which I obviously had to try. The soft serve was good but the cinnamon cookie, a popular product of Kyoto, was the unexpected show stealer. The cookie had a wonderful crisp crunchy texture with a prominent cinnamon aroma. Totally regretted not buying them when I had the chance. The Baumkuchen was pretty tasty too, with a soft an tender crumb texture and a hint of green tea fragrance. It won’t replace my all time fave Nenrinya’s but it makes for a good alternative if Nenrinya’s not available.
