Around the pass, the shavings (residues) generated by past mining are left untouched, and there are countless quartz and crystals inside, but this seems to be a very small and worthless thing. Since the discovery of quartz by Mt. Kinpu in the 16th century, it is the shavings of fresh tea that remain today after private mining from the early Meiji era. Even if you don't do the forbidden collection, you can enjoy it just by looking at the mining traces and scraps of the area, which is the remains of human efforts for hundreds of years.
