いつ朽ちてもおかしくない状態で、根元の祠も倒れてしまいました。
何か人生の終焉を見ているよう・・・。

大枝が折れた直後の写真と過去に撮影した折れる前の雄大な姿。
私が巨木を追い求めるきっかけとなったような思い出深い巨木。
腐食が進み空洞化しているので中々厳しい現状だが長生きしてもらいたいものだ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道路から少し(数分)雰囲気の良い畑道と山道を歩くいて行きます。 聴こえてくる音は近くの沢の音、大きなトチノキから落ちてくる身と木の皮の自然発生音と鳥の声、根元に祠も有り神秘的な雰囲気のとても良い場所です！ 道中に猪の罠が有るところが少々怖いかも...
A little (a few minutes) from the road, we will walk along the field roads and mountain roads with a nice atmosphere. The sounds you hear are the sounds of nearby swamps, the naturally occurring sounds of the body and bark falling from the big horse chestnuts, the voices of birds, and the shrine at the base, making it a very nice place with a mysterious atmosphere! It might be a little scary to see a boar trap along the way ...
