写真は2015年2月に撮ったものです。久保神社は、旧満濃町役場の南約１．２ｋｍ、金倉川（かなくらがわ）右岸に鎮座しています。
主祭神は市杵島姫命（いちきしまひめのみこと）など３神。明治４年（1871）に久保神社と改称するまでは、三社大明神と称していたようです。江戸時代、境内で念仏踊りや祭礼が行われる日には、村役人や大百姓が桟敷を設けて見物したと伝わっています。（平凡社「香川県の地名」による）
神門のすぐ先、右手にこのクスノキが立っている。神木とされています。
なお、広葉樹から成る久保神社の境内林は、高木･低木ともに樹種が豊富だとして、昭和５８年（1983）、香川県自然記念物に指定されました。
"Manno Town: Kubo Shrine"
The photo was taken in February 2015. Kubo Shrine is located on the right bank of the Kanakura River, about 1.2km south of the former Manno Town Hall.
The main deities are three gods, including Ichikishimahime Mikoto. Until the name was changed to Kubo Shrine in 1871, it seems that it was called Sansha Daimeijin. It is said that during the Edo period, village officials and peasants set up a pier on the days when Nenbutsu odori and festivals were held in the precincts. (According to Heibonsha "Place Name in Kagawa Prefecture")
This camphor tree stands on the right hand side just beyond the Shinto gate. It is said to be a sacred tree.
The precincts of Kubo Shrine, which consists of broad-leaved trees, was designated as a natural memorial in Kagawa Prefecture in 1983 because both trees and shrubs are rich in tree species.
