T	Timothy Takemoto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go up around the Tower, and Temple Beside the Zen Temple proper the is a cemetery and behind that on the hill is a photogenic row of about 50 Jizou (child-protecting red hatted road-side stone god) and up behind the 5 storey pagoda is an interesting view onto the pagoda and temple, an temple garden.

We've visited the graves in Hagi, so to know they extended here in Hofu as well was interesting. Kozan park is very peaceful. The kids enjoyed feeding the fish and the back drop of the pagoda was absolutely breath-taking. Seeing the green pay phone was such a hit with the children as well. We will be back to explore more of Hofu.
