C	Corinna Zennig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great bath. One cold, one milky white, one bubbly, one with water jets and massage seats. Try to go off-hours. Seriously. And do ignore the old people attitude if you're foreigner. Did not feel welcome but you know who cares I loved the bath. Tons of Japanese manga in the rest rooms. Some snacks and lots of drinks available. I love to come just before dinner so I can head to one of the shops in this nice neighborhood after.

They are tattoo friendly and open until 1:45am! I would go almost every night after a long day of touring the city. I loved the different baths that were in rotation as they changed it up daily. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because it can get quite crowded in the evening especially in the men's side, my boyfriend couldn't get into any of the tubs as there was quite a line up. I recommend not going on weekends since this is worse on these days. I would highly recommend this sento to anyone visiting Koenji!
R	Richard Seery on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went twice. Can be oversubscribed - even towards closing time. The cold bath could be enlargened given the volume of bathers. It can feel a little squashed. There's a good range of actual baths though which they seem to alternate with various scents and teas (?!), bubbles and other jacuzzi type effects. It can get noisy - young, overkeen men and boys of men yapping a way to each like fawning birds It could do with more of an older clientele sitting quietly to themselves, pondering regret, and enduring, enduring... to give more of an old school sento atmosphere. But sadly, this is probably not the profile remit of Kosugiyu. Although you will see old lost among the young... The lobby area is really comfortable if you can get the sofa. You can sit and relax for quite a time. They don't try and rush you on to your home or the streets. It's missing a sauna which is horse and carriage for me as regards the sento experience.
E	Edouard Isar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is definite Koenji feel in this sento with younger staff, an attention to design and a relaxed atmosphere. Everything feels new and clean. I enjoyed the variety of hot baths, including one with tea if I am not mistaken. There is no sauna, but there is a cold bath. It's not a very big sento however. I showed up at 1.15am on a Friday hoping to beat the crowds and in fact the place was packed, which meant sometimes having to wait a few minutes for people to exit whichever bath I wanted to use next. I would definitely go back but at a more quiet time.
K	Kyle Hanis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was great! As a foreigner from America with tattoos, I felt pretty comfortable and welcome. The staff was very friendly too. There were 4 different baths to choose from: a cold one, a milk one and then it looks like they rotate the other two, when I visited it was a spice bath and a lavender bath. I will say though that the baths are all on the smaller side, only fitting between 4 and 6 people, meaning that sometimes I just sat on the edge waiting. Hopefully I'll be able to stop by again before leaving Koenji!

C	Cindy Leong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing bath house with lots of products you can use i.e. make up remover, cleanser, shampoo, conditioner and even hair oil before you dry your hair! Great selection of bath temperatures and jets. I would make this a weekly ritual.
