説明：岩門城は、神川に面した段丘の東端に築かれている。 岩門神社の南側一帯が城跡で、佐久間象山の師である活文禅師が寺子屋を開いた大日堂跡として「活文禅師遺跡三号岩門大日堂跡」という名で市指定史跡となっている。城跡一帯は畑となっているが、大日堂の所に分厚い土塁が残り、その北側に堀跡である少し凹んだ畑地が残る。

The area on the south side of Iwamon Shrine is a castle ruin, and it is a historic site designated by the city under the name of "Katsubun Zen Master Ruins No. 3 Iwamon Dainichido Ruins" as the ruins of Dainichido where Sakuma Shozan's teacher, Katsubun Zen Master, opened a terakoya. It has become. The area around the castle ruins is a field, but a thick earthwork remains at Dainichido, and a slightly recessed field that is a moat remains on the north side.
