福田橋を渡って旭川の対岸に出ると、国道沿いには郊外型店舗もあり、少しは栄えています。
It is a small unmanned station with a countryside landscape. A little south, there is Kawahito Park with beautiful cluster amaryllis.
When you cross Fukuda Bridge and go to the other side of Asahikawa, there are some suburban stores along the national highway, which is a little prosperous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 姫新線もいくつかの駅は簡易な造りの駅で古見駅もそのひとつ。雨避け屋寝付きのベンチがあるだけ。津山〜中国勝山間は「25Km」規制の区間がなく快調に走ってくれる。
Some stations on the Himeshin Line are simple stations, and Komi Station is one of them. There is only a bench with a rain shelter. There is no section of "25km" regulation between Tsuyama and Katsuyama in China and it runs smoothly.
