G	Ground New on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 津山線開業当時の木造駅舎が現役の静かな駅です。久米南町が川柳の町ということもあり、駅の至るところに川柳が書かれています。近くの道路は国道ということもありそこそこ交通量があります。 The wooden station building at the time of the opening of the Tsuyama Line is an active quiet station. 渡	渡辺裕二 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 上下線とも1時間に約1本程しか電車がない駅。ですが快速が停まるので、岡山・津山からのどちらでも少し早く来られます。普段は一般の方が切符売り場で対応してくれていて、町の話など会話が進みます。駅には自販機が一台。時間待ちの買い物は、県道を津山側に徒歩3分ほどのスーパーで。弓削はいまや日本一と言われる川柳の町です。なのでプラットホームに一歩降りた途端、川柳の掲示物があちこち見られます。お気に入りは駅前広場の「俺に似よ、俺に似るなと、子を思ひ」の麻生道郎氏の句碑。駅から北へ徒歩15分くらいのところには川柳公園があり、川柳の小径に並ぶ句碑は見物です。ホームの歩道橋は鉄骨の手作り感満載でなかなか味があります。 A station with only about one train per hour on both the upper and lower lines. My favorite is the monument of Michio Aso in the station square, "Like me, don't look like me, think of a child." Kawayanagi Park is about a 15-minute walk north of the station, and you can see the monuments lined up in the small diameter of Kawayanagi. The pedestrian bridge on the platform is full of handmade steel frames and has a good taste.
