目の部分は時計になっていて、駅の内外どちらからも時刻が確認できます。
訪問時は本物のカメも飼育していました。さすがにこれは蛇足な気がしないでもなかったですが、今はどうかは分かりません。

亀甲の地名は、近くにある亀甲岩にちなんでいます、その為、駅舎の建物、テーブル、案内板等、すべて亀に因んだデザインですね
