★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 金輪院は天台宗のお寺で、比叡山延暦寺の末寺です。17世紀、小泉藩主片桐貞昌の家臣である藤林直良が創建しました。本尊は青面金剛像と申します。一国一宇庚申として、大和国の庚申信仰の総道場として有名でした。昔からある街道沿いに静かに建っており、気持ちを落ち着けて参拝できるお寺です。近くには、大正時代に設置された『片桐村道路元標』や、一等水準点などもあり、昔から町の中心だったことを思わせるものもあります。
Kinrinji is a temple of the Tendai sect and is the last temple of Enryakuji Temple on Mt. Hiei. It was founded in the 17th century by Naoyoshi Fujibayashi, a vassal of Sekishū Katagiri, the lord of the Koizumi domain. The principal image is the statue of Shomen Kongo. It was famous as the general dojo of the Koshin faith in Yamato Province as one country and one Ukoshin. It is a temple that is quietly built along an old highway and you can relax and worship. Nearby, there are the Katagiri Village Road Kilometer, which was set up in the Taisho era, and the first-class benchmark, which reminds us of the center of the town from ancient times.
