★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2009年「山形の石橋群」として選奨土木遺産に指定された石橋の一つで「蛇ヶ橋」（じゃがばし）と言いますが、別名で小巖橋（こいわばし）とも言います。
2014年７月９日～１０日の豪雨によって一部流失しましたが、土木遺産としての価値や地域への配慮などを考慮し、石橋で【原形復旧】する事を決定しました。復旧を行うにあたり、流失した石材は回収し、使用可能な石材は原則使用する。消失した石材についても、地元の 石材を使用する事として復元されました。投稿画像撮影は２０１９年で、橋の復元後間もないので、石材の色味の違いが目立ちました。やはり１００年の歴史を重ねた風化は現在の技術でも再現は難しい事であると感じました。

The posted image was taken in 2019, shortly after the restoration of the bridge, and the difference in the color of the stone was noticeable. After all, we felt that weathering with 100 years of history was difficult to reproduce with current technology.
