★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 洞窟自体はちょっと入るとかなり狭くなっているので、奥まで入るのは難しいです。
周りは畑と田んぼしかないです。
The cave itself is quite narrow when it enters a little, so it is difficult to get into the cave.
There are only fields and rice fields around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 畑の道を通らせてもらいます。アクセスも良く付近の洞窟の代表的な所ですが数カ所にある洞窟全てを見学できるまでは整備されていませんでした。山形県立博物館に洞窟の解説コーナーが有りますので博物館で観てから訪れるのも良いかと思います。
I will go through the field. It is well-accessible and is a typical place of a nearby cave, but it was not maintained until you could see all the cave in several places. The Yamagata Prefectural Museum has a cave commentary section, so you should visit it after watching it at the museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 車道から５分ぐらい歩いたところにあります。桜もあり、風情がありますが、中に入るのは躊躇われました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一万年～も前の縄文草創期の遺跡、遥か過ぎて想像もつきかねます。江戸時代は鬼の岩戸と呼ばれていたそうで、何かしら遠い記憶が伝承されるのですね。
立ち入ろうかと思いましたが、ヤバそうな羽音が唸ってましたので止めときました。
出土した遺物は、うきたむ風土記の丘考古史料館に展示されています。
The ruins of the early Jomon period, 10,000 years ago, are too far to be imagined. It seems that it was called the demon Iwato in the Edo period, and something distant memory is passed down.
I thought I was going to enter, but it stopped because there was a terrible humming sound.
The excavated artifacts are on display at the Ukimu Fukiki no Oka Archaeological Museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 幹線道路から畑の間の細くゆるい坂道を上って行くと一軒の民家があり、超えてすぐに左に入ると日向洞窟が目の前に大きな口を空いたように見えて来ます。土の駐車場ですが、普通車で２台位は停められそうです。
トイレ等は無いので事前に済ませて向かった方が良いと思います。
飲み物の自動販売機もありません。
なのでゴミも落ちていません。
日向洞窟は縄文時代の人々が住んだ住居跡です。
春の桜の花が咲く時には時期を合わせて必ず
行く様にしています。洞窟と桜がとても合うので花見スポット巡りではお気に入りの場所の一つです！
洞窟の中に入り上の方を見ると当時の焚き火の煤でしょうか。黒い跡が残っています。
この場所、周辺で当時の人達がどの様な生活をしていたのかを考えるだけでも楽しいと思います。
すぐそばにも何個か洞窟があるので探検してみるのも楽しいと思いますが、足場の良くない所もあるので服装や履く物は準備してから行かれる事をおすすめします。

Although it is a parking lot on the soil, it seems that about two cars can be parked by ordinary cars.
There are no toilets, so I think it's better to finish it in advance.

Hinata Cave is the site of a residence where people from the Jomon period lived.
When the cherry blossoms in spring bloom, be sure to match the time
I'm trying to go. The cave and the cherry blossoms match very well, so it is one of my favorite places to visit the cherry blossom viewing spots!
If you go inside the cave and look up, it's the soot of the bonfire at that time. There are black marks left.
I think it's fun just to think about how people at that time lived in and around this place.
There are several caves nearby, so it's fun to explore, but there are some places where you don't have a good foothold, so it's recommended that you prepare your clothes and clothes before you go.
