合鍵も400円(税込)と破格な料金で、新宿駅から少し歩きますが、それでも足が向くお店です。穏やかな店主さんでレジ前に御家族の姿が見えることがあり、微笑ましい気持ちになります。
Mr. Kikuya who is very conscient in the old-fashioned storefront.
The lock is a very special price of 400 yen (tax included), and it walks a little from Shinjuku Station, but it is still a store where your footsteps go. It is a calm shopkeeper who can see your family before the checkout, which makes me smiley.

＊ (2019年9月5日) 久しぶりに訪ねたら、｢雪駄｣ がかなりの種類と足のサイズが販売されていました。
履物屋さんですら、こんなに多数のサイズの｢雪駄｣を取り扱ってはいません。
(2019年･｢雪駄｣を買うなら ｢菊屋｣ さんへ。)
There are safety shoes up to 28cm in size (although it is a small shop). It is a good shop where you can easily buy leather gloves for work.
* (September 5, 2019) When I visited for the first time in a long time, there were quite a few types of snowballs and foot sizes.
Even footwear stores don't handle so many sizes of “snow”.
(For 2019, if you buy “snow”, go to “Kikuya”.)
