★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As far as Excelsior cafes go, this is one of the poor ones. The service is often poor (rare in Japan, really) and the food and drink options are really limited compare to other Excelsiors in other places. The general Excelsior "business model" works pretty well, hence the three stars as its still an acceptable place to go. But I'd steer clear of this place in favor of others as there are lots of restaurants nearby. It's OK for a quick bite if you're in a hurry but don't be surprised if they mess up your order, forget about you, deliver to someone else first, or ignore part of your order as I've had all of those things happen (and never seen that in other Excelsiors).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice, quite and spacious cafe. Every time I've been here, there are always ample seats available. It does have WiFi but it's a little troublesome because it requires a certain app, not readily available to foreigners . It's very close to Shinjuku station, however not in a crowded part of the city so it's great if you need a peaceful cafe to do some work, have a lesson or a coffee with your partner. The menu is small but sufficient. Expect to pay about ¥350~¥500 for a coffee.

The menu has been greatly reduced due to corona so not much to talk about. Standard coffee menu and price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff understands English pretty well and were very friendly. I got here at a time where there were ample seats, so you just have to be patient. The coffee is okay, and the atmosphere is cozy. I got a hot caramel macchiato and it included latte art. They don’t accept credit card, so I just swiped my suica card.
