J	Jun Kudo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅前にはラーメン屋、テイクアウト専門のハンバーガー、定食屋（缶ビールなども売っている）などがありますが、飯時には意外と混んでいて時間がかかります。駅前にはなぜかコンビニはない（マイナーなほうの出口：東口のほうに一軒あります）。夏休みの時期には、合宿なのか遊びに来てるだけなのか、ちゃらちゃらした大学生みたいなのが沢山います。この人たちは集団で行動するうえにやかましいのでちょっと辟易。一方、趣味でサーフィンしに来ている人たちと自転車小僧のみなさんはおおむねマナーがよく少人数行動なので対照的です。駅の待合室はちゃんと座って待てるような感じで、トイレもあります。駅舎の中には自動販売機やベンチもあります。外房線のダイヤが当駅を基点に上り下り分割されている列車がおおく、みなさん始発での席取りにせわしない。 There are ramen shops, hamburgers specializing in take-out, and set meal shops (which also sell canned beer) in front of the station, but it is unexpectedly crowded and takes time at meal time.
