★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無人駅と思われがちですが、一応業務委託駅なので、平日の朝(8時半過ぎくらい?)に行くと委託者の方がおり、今では珍しくなった常備券の販売を行っています(日によって、特に高校が休みの時期などはいらっしゃらないかもしれませんが)。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 歩いて大江までの途中、トイレ休憩で立寄りです。JR因美線河原駅は普段は委託の方がおられるそうです。
11/3 文化の日㊗️午前9時過ぎに改札口から窓の中を覗いてみました。確かに普段は委託の方がお仕事をされている生活感が駅舎の中に漂います。
人影はありません。暫く改札待合室で座っていると、一台のタクシーが正面米岡方向から駅に到着です。
2人の若いカップルが料金を支払い降車してきました。大きな荷物はなく手提げバック位な軽い持ち物で軽装スタイルです。会話から??の方のようです。国際化の波が押し寄せています。
因美線は因幡の国と美作の国とを結んでいます。大原宿場町・武蔵の里へは智頭急行線が通ります。
因幡と美作とは昔から一つの文化圏、一衣帯水の関係です。

Inaba and Mimasaka have long been related to one cultural area, Ichigo Aishui.
