★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明治32年開業の民家の中にひょっこりある無人駅。駅はカーブの途中にあります。近くに久慈川の橋梁がありますが最短距離で川に橋を架けるために線路を曲げたんでしょうね。
An unmanned station in a private house that opened in 1902. The station is in the middle of the curve. There is a bridge on the Kuji River nearby, but you probably bent the railroad tracks to build the bridge over the river in the shortest distance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ホーム１本、小さな庇の下に長ベンチ、トイレ無し。駐車場(無料10台迄？)は駅から50m位離れた場所にありますが、ちょっと分かりにくいです。ホーム待合室に案内情報盤があり列車の接近を知らせてくれますが、上り水戸方面行きですと、前駅の谷河原駅が見えるので停車中と接近してくるのが分かります。駅前は一般の住居だけ商店等無し。道幅も狭くて車１台分で終わり、通り抜け不可の袋小路状態。車で来ると方向変換がとても困難です。
