鳥居の先に拝殿、後ろに少し離れて御本殿、その後ろに瓦屋根の古い覆屋の中の石祠、さらに後ろに石柱で囲まれた石祠と、直線に配置されているのも珍しいです。拝殿内の奉納絵に、当社にお参りする多数の参拝者の列が描かれており、当社が多くの崇敬者を集めていらっしゃった有名社であったことが窺えます。
こういう時、歴史と伝承に詳しき話好きの御老人でも通りかかってくれればなァ・・・とか勝手に（勝手神社だけに）思うのですが、いてくれたためしはありませんね。
