御祭神・御由緒とも不詳、ネットでも情報を得られませんでした。愛宕神社が鎮座するここ両宿は、武田川の南を走る国道354号線の旧街道沿いの宿場町だったのでしょうか。この辺りは我がテリトリーから結構遠いので知識がないのですが、発祥の地たる常陸国に舞い戻った甲斐武田氏の庶流「北浦武田氏」の神明城の城下町だったのでしょうか・・・。閑話休題、その旧街道から南へさらに狭い路地を進み、右へとカーブするところに幟竿置き場、そして鳥居と石段がありました。むっ、ここから登りですね。思ったよりずっと長い階段をせっせと登った先、山頂が境内となっており、社が鎮座していらっしゃいました。御神域には眩しき太陽光線が降り注いでいました。

Ryoshuku, where Atago Shrine is enshrined, was a post town along the old highway of Route 354, which runs south of the Takeda River. I don't have any knowledge about this area because it is quite far from my territory, but I wonder if it was the castle town of Shinmei Castle of Mr. Takeda Kai, who returned to the birthplace of Hitachi Province. There was a quiet talk, a narrow alley to the south from the old highway, a nobori pole storage place, and a torii gate and stone steps on the curve to the right. Well, it's a climb from here. After climbing the stairs much longer than I expected, the mountaintop was the precincts, and the company was enshrined. Dazzling sunlight was shining on the sacred area.
