★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 片山城址。天正(1537)元年、織田信長の武将の不破河内守光治が築いたと云われる連郭式の山城で、50余の曲輪が残っている。
 Katayama castle ruins. In the first year of Tensho (1537), there are more than 50 Kuruwa in the mountain castle, which is said to have been built by Nobunaga Oda's warlord Fuwa Kawachi Mitsuharu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道の駅池田温泉から徒歩15分ほど。
山ノ神神社横に登山口。
東海自然歩道を登りきった所が峠。
右尾根へ進むと城跡。
城跡看板のある郭の次の郭が主郭と思われる。
その先は枡形虎口状の通路あり。
東西尾根には段々郭あり。
地形図アプリとGPSがあれば迷わない
トンネルの反対側の円興寺から徒歩20分ほどで峠に行くコースもある

About a 15-minute walk from Road Station Ikeda Onsen.
The trailhead next to Yamano Shrine.
The pass is where you have climbed the Tokai Nature Trail.
Proceed to the right ridge and you will see the ruins of a castle.
The next Guo with the castle ruin signboard seems to be the main Guo.
Beyond that, there is a box-shaped tiger mouth-shaped passage.
There are steps on the east and west ridges.
Don't hesitate if you have a topographic map app and GPS
There is also a course that goes to the pass in about 20 minutes on foot from Enkoji Temple on the other side of the tunnel.
