K	Kou K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR東日本鹿島線、鹿島臨海鉄道の駅で事実上始終点駅。名称通り常陸国一之宮鹿島神宮への最寄駅。通常東京駅への直通列車はないが、土休日に東京駅経由の横須賀線直通大船行きが運航する。駅舎としては立派で駅前は、よく整備され綺麗。特に駅南口は広い空間でバスロータリーもゆったりしている。鉄道便よりバス路線便が充実していて、近隣方面の路線バスや市内循環のコミニュティバスのほか、都心への高速バスが各方面に。その中でも東京駅行きは便数も料金もJR利用より有利で、利用客が多い。他に都心には羽田空港、ディズニーリゾート、お台場等に便がある。鹿島スタジアムでの試合開催日には臨時シャトルバスが運行される。このように列車の駅だがバス路線の起点駅の意味合いが強い駅。駅前には特に商業施設やお土産店などは皆無。 1970(昭和45)年、旧国鉄の駅として開業。交通系ICカードが使用可能。(鹿島臨海鉄道は不可) It is a station on the JR East Kashima Line and Kashima Rinkai Railway, and is virtually the starting and ending station. ギ	ギッシュ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 仕事の関係上、たまに駅を利用します。前はICカードが使えなかったのですが、少し前に設置されたので今は使えます。駅前も長く続いた工事が終わったので、見違える程に綺麗に成りました。御手洗いは改札内とロータリーの両方に在り、どちらも綺麗です。コンビニは反対側にミニストップが有ります。食事をする場所はラーメン屋等が何件か在りました。前は喫茶店が在ったのですが、閉店したようですね。電車で東京方面に向かう場合は、佐原と成田で乗り換えなければならず、本数も少ないです。千葉迄か内房外房に行くなら兎も角、東京方面なら高速バスを使った方が良いと思います。乗り換え無しで東京まで行きますし、本数も多いですから。 Due to my work, I sometimes use the station.
