y	yu yamamoto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2020年3月からSuicaが使えるようになりました。高架駅ですが、エレベーターやエスカレーターはありません。駅前はコンビニや本屋などはなく、駐車場もほとんどありません。延方駅、鹿島神宮駅同様に、駅前にはビジネスホテルがあります。あやめ祭りの最寄り駅で、この時期は臨時の特急列車も運行されます。 Suica has been available since March 2020. Although it is an elevated station, there are no elevators or escalators. There are no convenience stores or bookstores in front of the station, and there is almost no parking lot. Similar to Nobukata Station and Kashima Jingu Station, there is a business hotel in front of the station. It is the closest station to the Ayame Festival, and special express trains also operate during this time.
3	3534 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅員さんが声をかけてくれました♪　日曜は、駅前でそんなに量はなさそうですが、野菜や果物を売ってます！アスパラも美味しそうで購入！最高に美味しかったです！店員さんもご配慮くださいました！（ナイショ！）　建物が低く目なので、夕日がきれいでした。老舗の和菓子屋さんやあやめ公園などもあり、利根川も近いです。５分くらいのところに大きめのスーパーもあって、駅周辺で歩いて事足りました。私的には人も少なくよき日本人を感じられ快適でした。珍しい暴走好きな方にも遭遇しましたが（笑） The station staff called out to me ♪ On Sundays, there seems to be not so much in front of the station, but vegetables and fruits are sold! Asparagus looks delicious and I bought it! It was the best! The clerk also took care! (Naisho!) The sunset was beautiful because the building was low. There is also a long-established Japanese sweets shop and Ayame Park, and the Tone River is also nearby. There was a large supermarket about 5 minutes away, and it was enough to walk around the station. Personally, there were few people and I felt good Japanese and it was comfortable. I also encountered a rare runaway lover (laughs)

H	Hまきこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅舎は結構広いですが、昭和のままEV･エスカレーター無しの設え、WCは改札内です。駅員さんも常駐していない様ですが、女性の職員さんが改札やお掃除を担って綺麗に整えられています。 The station building is quite large, but as it is in the Showa era, there is no EV / escalator, and the WC is inside the ticket gate. It seems that the station staff is not resident, but the female staff is in charge of ticket gates and cleaning and is in good condition.

H	Howard Cabalfin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lived in Itako for 3 years back in the 1990s. Coming from big cities like Tokyo and LA, I was a little surprised by its size and lack of flash. But after getting to know the town, I feel fondness for the warm and generous people who took me in as family. I consider Itako my adopted Japanese hometown. Itako Station and this image of the Welcome Gate is iconic. I highly recommend visiting for the Ayame Matsuri (Iris Festival), where Itako shows its finest beauty.
