特急が停車し、周辺の一日駐車場の料金も安いので名古屋方面やへ名鉄岐阜駅経由で犬山方面へアクセスするにはとても便利です。
トイレは上り下り両改札付近に有り。
無料駐輪場有り。
名鉄のフリーWi-Fi有り。
docomoWi-Fiは2番線ホーム側に機器が設置してあるらしく、1番線ホームでは繋がり難いです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 竹鼻線乗り換え駅です、まあまあ大きい駅です、駅裏の改札口出てから直ぐに笠松競馬場が有ります、駅員も常駐してます、駅前には笠松町のコミュバス、タクシーも沢山止まっていました。岐阜工業高校も有って、学生さんが沢山利用してます。
It is a transfer station on the Takenashi line, it is a fairly large station, there is a Kasamatsu racecourse immediately after exiting the ticket gate at the back of the station, station staff are also resident, many community buses and taxis in Kasamatsu town stopped in front of the station .. There is also Gifu Technical High School, which is used by many students.

ラッシュ時は混雑する。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR線では笠松町に止まらないので笠松町の人は助かっていると思います。竹鼻線との接続もよくスムーズに乗り換えられます。特急から普通電車に乗り換える際、通過電車が来ますという放送があり、なんだろうと思っていたらエヴァンゲリオン塗装のミュースカイが来ました！ラッキーです！
I think that people in Kasamatsu-cho are saved because they do not stop at Kasamatsu-cho on the JR line. The connection with the Takehana line can be changed easily and smoothly. When you transfer to a regular train from the limited express, there is a broadcast saying that a passing train will come, and if you are wondering what, Evangelion painted musky came! I'm lucky!

１９９１年１月１５日、僕は偶然にもこの日、私用で朝1蒲郡から京都へと東海道線を使って向かっていた。列車が木曽川を渡るあたりだったと思う、車内アナウンスがその日、名馬オグリキャップの引退式が故郷笠松競馬場で開催されるとの内容を伝えていた。今でもはっきりと憶えている。今思うと粋な計らいだったんだなって思う。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a smaller station and has no help for English speaking tourists. There are no storage lockers and is basically an outdoor station. There is a good convenience store nearby. There is lots of parking for bicycles, even a place to rent them for the day.
