★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come on weekends to avoid lunch crowds. Thick slice of pork belly in bowl of noodles. Soup is a bit salty but there's flask of lighter broth that you can add to dilute. We enjoyed it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the best ramen restaurants in Japan and I have tried over 100. The broth is thick and tastfull. Noodles are thick and not overcooked. The meat is fantastic and the egg is perfectly marinated.

Broth is fish-based, or at least has a big fish component — don’t read Japanese, so I can’t be more specific. That’s not my favorite kind of ramen, but it was still excellent.
Try to sit where you can watch the cook; it’s a fun little show. There’s a certain machismo about this place — a piratical swagger. But they live up to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can say without a doubt this is to me the best ramen I've had in my life - actually, it is tsukemen. The broth (which includes fish) is incredible thick and tasty, provided separately from the other ingredients, the pork is cut in very thick slices, perfectly cooked, the egg is incredibly well done, and the noodles are also perfect.
Ordering happens through a vending machine Don't be afraid to order the double portion!
