★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little mom and pop shop making fresh Soba. The food was excellent. A little tricky to find down an alley but totally worth hunting for. They had an English menu when we went.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asked for recommendations for dinner around this area at the information desk at Nagano station and they mentioned this soba restaurant.
It was a bit tricky to see the entrance but it is in the building in front of a Brazilian restaurant, going through the entrance and to a traditional looking door at the end.
The owners don't speak too much English but they do have an English menu with photos and were extremely sweet. It was our first time eating soba so we ordered one cold and one hot, which were good and filling. Service was great and we were sat in traditional tables on the floor upstairs.
Worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this little mom and pops soba shop I wanted to go back again right next day, but unfortunately I couldn’t make it into my schedule and I am very saddened by that. Therefore, I really recommend anyone to find this shop. They have an English menu and you can really taste the love of the soba here. Really cool style interior, I felt like I was in a movie with other single business man and woman eating alone.
I did a little painting of the shop after because I loved it so much. I wanted to show the owners but didn’t get to. (If anyone sees this would you show them for me? Haha <3 ) It really felt like a warm little corner in the cold city.
