遊具がないので、子どもたちが工夫して遊ぶのがいい。
 The toilet is clean. Enjoy seasonal flowers.

石碑が掘られています。
遺跡の形をした公園で
桜の木が丸く植えられていて
凄く見事な百日紅(ｻﾙｽﾍﾞﾘ)の木が有ります。トイレも有り

児童公園ではないので遊具はないが、広場があるのでちょっとしたボール遊びぐらいはできる。
イベントのハイキングコースやサイクリングの休憩地点となっているようで、
たまに壮年の方の団体が休憩と談笑しておられる。
綺麗とは言えないがトイレもあるので緊急時にはありがたい。

There is no play equipment because it is not a children's park, but there is a plaza so you can play a little ball.
It seems that it is a hiking course for events and a break point for cycling,
Occasionally a group of older people is having a break and chatting.
It's not clean, but there's a toilet so I'm grateful for an emergency.

裏手の川は昔水が流れていましたが、今は節水のためか水かさ少なめです。
夜は不気味でございます。
It's a beautiful park.
The river in the back used to run water, but now it's less watery, probably because of water saving.
It's creepy at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ すぐ南側にある成福寺を含めてこの周辺は聖徳太子が晩年を過ごし亡くなったと言われている飽波葦垣宮があったと言われている。『続日本記』によると、称徳天皇が訪れるなど、かつて天皇の行宮として常設の施設があったとも言われている。近年の発掘で公園敷地内に奈良時代の大型掘立柱建物群が発見され、平城宮と同じ範型で作られた軒瓦が多数出土しています。万葉歌碑や太子像もあり小ぶりながら綺麗な歴史公園として整備されています。敷地は広い割に駐車場がないのが残念ですが、一台程度なら路駐できないでもありません。すぐ北側に聖徳太子の従者と馬を葬ったと言われている古墳が二基あります。
It is said that around this area, including Seifuku-ji Temple on the southern side, was the Atsugaki Ashigaki Shrine, which is said to have died in the late years of Prince Shotoku. According to Nihon Nikki, it was said that there was once a permanent facility for the emperor's palace, such as the visit of Emperor Shoku. A large excavated pillar building group from the Nara era was discovered in the park grounds by excavation in recent years, and many eave tiles made in the same model as Heijo Palace have been excavated. It is a beautiful historical park that is small but has many Manga monuments and a statue of a prince. It's a pity that there is no parking lot for the large site, but it's not impossible to park at one car. Immediately to the north are two tumuli that are said to have buried Prince Shotoku's servant and horse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ なかなかお金をかけた立派な施設ですが、聖徳太子の雰囲気はありません。ウォーキングのお年寄りがたくさん歩いておられました。
It's a great facility that costs a lot of money, but it doesn't have the atmosphere of Prince Shotoku. Many elderly people were walking.
