サ	サント船長 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ このお寺は昔は尼寺と聞いています、つまり男子禁制なんですね、ですから私は近寄る事が出来ませんので入口付近から撮影しました、ですからほとんどこの尼寺の事は判りません？今はどうなんですかね？今でも男子禁制かな？調べて見ました(^^♪ 上七軒の中にある西方尼寺は天台真盛宗に属し，真盛山と号します。寺伝によると文明年間（1469～87）に真盛を開山として大北山の地に尼僧の道場として建立しました。永正年間（1504～21）に現在の地に移り西方寺と改めました。本尊の阿弥陀如来像は椅子に腰かけた中品中生の印を結ぶ珍しい仏像です。重要文化財の絹本著色観経曼荼羅図は大和当麻寺の中将姫ゆかりの綴織観経曼荼羅（当麻曼荼羅）を鎌倉時代に転写したものです。境内には秀吉の北野大茶会に千利休が用いたという利休の井が残り，名物真盛豆は真盛が念仏を聞きに来た信者に出したのが始まりと伝えます。現在はお茶の寺として有名らしいです。 I heard that this temple used to be a Buddhist temple in the old days. I looked it up (^^ ♪ Saijouji Temple in the upper seven houses belongs to Tendai Mamori Buddhism and is called Mamoriyama. According to Teraden, it was built as a nun dojo in the area of Daikokuyama with the opening of Mamori in the civilization year (1469-87). In the Eisho period (1504-21), it moved to its current location and changed to Saiho-ji. The main statue of Amida Nyorai is a rare Buddha statue linking a junior high school student seated on a chair. The Kinki Mandala Map by Kinumoto, an important cultural property, is a transcription of the Tsukuri Kankei Mandala (Toma Mandala) related to the lord of the Yamato Tomaji Temple during the Kamakura period. In the precincts, there is a Rikyu well that Hideki's Kitano Daichakai used for Senrikyu, and the famous Mamori bean is said to have begun to the believers who came to hear the Buddha. It is now famous as a tea temple.
