On the way back from Chita Peninsula pottering, I ran at this station. The size of the station is just right. Good loneliness around the station!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名鉄知多新線で最初の駅?、そして特急停車駅でもあります!元々無人駅で、夏の観光シーズン等には駅員が配置されましたが、駅管理集中システム採用により完全無人駅となりました、これが導入される前は、この駅で駅員が居た時に入場券(硬券)が買えました。また座席指定券が駅員が居る時には買えましたが、無かった頃は車掌さんが車掌割当の座席指定精算券として発行して貰えました。
It is also the first station on the Meitetsu Chita New Line, and is also the limited express stop station! Before this was introduced, admission tickets (hard tickets) could be bought when station staff were present at this station. Also, I could buy a seat reservation ticket when there was a station staff, but when I was not there, the conductor could issue it as a seat reservation ticket for conductor assignment.

ここから、昔は南知多ビーチランドや野間大坊に路線バスで行きましたけど、現状では、南知多ビーチランドは、知多奥田駅から、野間大坊は野間駅からがアクセスになっています。
ここから、山沿いに5キロぐらい行くと、東側の河和駅方面に行く事が出来ます。
まあ、電車なら、河和駅まで行くのが一番ですけどね！
この駅は、知多新線の富貴駅から最初の駅ですが、距離が長いので、途中にすれ違いが出来る信号所があります。
駅の周辺は、特に何も無いひっそりした印象の少し寂しい感じがします。

From here, I used to take a local bus to Minamichita Beachland and Noma Daibo, but at present, Minamichita Beachland is accessible from Chita Okuda Station and Noma Daibo from Noma Station.
From here, you can go along the mountain for about 5 km and head towards Kawawa Station on the east side.
Well, it's best to go to Kawawa Station by train!
This station is the first station from Fuki Station on the Chita New Line, but because of the long distance, there is a signal station where you can pass each other along the way.
The area around the station feels a little lonely with a quiet impression, with nothing in particular.
