山の上にありますが、かなりの山道を行くことになります。展望はいいです。観音像の周りのスペースが、ほとんど無いので、ベンチくらいはありますが、写真などは、一苦労なところはあります。
I went to see the Guardian Kannon.
Although it is on the top of the mountain, we will go on a considerable mountain road. The outlook is good. There is almost no space around the Kannon statue, so there are benches, but there are places such as photographs that are difficult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 秩父の観光時に訪れました。護国観音の足元まで行くには、大渕寺の山道をひたすら登っていく必要があります。目安として片道10分前後です。舗装されていない道なので、足元には細心の注意が必要です。特に帰り道が怖く、雨水で湿った落ち葉が良く滑りました(^^;)
登りきって初めて観音様を間近で拝見した時、達成感を感じ、その迫力に圧倒されました☆また、眼下に広がる景色は大変キレイで感動しました。この観音様はこの視点で、秩父の街を見守っておられるのかと。大変な思いをした甲斐あって、心に残る体験ができました。見学は心身との相談になるかと思いますが、オススメのスポットです。
I visited during sightseeing in Chichibu. In order to reach the foot of Gokoku Kannon, you need to climb the mountain path of Obuchiji Temple. As a guide, it is about 10 minutes each way. Because it is an unpaved road, you need to be very careful at your feet. I was particularly afraid of the way home, and the fallen leaves wet with rainwater slipped well (^ ^;)
The first time I saw Kannon-sama up close, I felt a sense of accomplishment and was overwhelmed by its power. Is this Kannon looking at Chichibu's city from this perspective? Thanks to the great thought, I was able to have an unforgettable experience. I think that a visit is a consultation with the mind and body, but it is a recommended spot.
