★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think we went a little too early. It was great, but not as majestic as I'd imagined it would be. Maybe I had high expectations. But other than that, it was a unique experience to have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow wow wow......out of nowhere ....... Went on a weekend driving down from Tokyo. It's easily accessible by train too. One can easily spend 45 mins to an hour here. It was chilly , but bearable. There is a nice eatery near the station to enjoy some steaming udon and Soba

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a huge area but come during night time (preferably after 18:00) to enjoy the view, due to covid-19 the entry to the place requires reservation and payment in advance. If you travel by car, park your car next to the station (it is free). Next to the icicles there is a rest area with food and hot beverages, though it is close at 18:00.
