★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここ延命寺の住所は神ガ丘である。然し町村合併する昔は鬼住村だった。和泉市に父鬼がいて、ここに女の鬼が住んでいたという。河内長野市が発足する昭和29年に神ガ丘に変えてしまった。「鬼ガール」の映画撮影場所にもなり今になって昔の名前を恋しがる人もいる。地名にはそれなりに歴史の重みが凝縮されていたのに変えてしまったら簡単には戻れない。
そもそもこのお寺は空海が開基し、後に浄厳和尚が跡を継いでいる。高野山の修行では天才ぶりを発揮したそうである。後に江戸に出て将軍の耳に入り、寵愛を受けここに戻れなかったのは本人の意とするところでは無かったのだろう。
ただ心配は夕映えもみじが高齢である事かな・・・
The address of Enmei-ji Temple is Kamigaoka. However, in the old days when the towns and villages merged, it was Onizumi Village. It is said that there was a father demon in Izumi City, and a female demon lived here. It was changed to Kamigaoka in 1954 when Kawachinagano City was established. It has become a movie shooting place for "Oni Girl", and some people now miss the old name. The weight of history was condensed in the place name, but if you change it, you cannot easily return to it.
In the first place, Kukai was founded in this temple, and Jōgon Osho succeeded it later. It seems that he demonstrated his genius in the training of Mt. Koya. It was probably not his intention that he later went out to Edo and heard the shogun, and was not able to return here because of his love.
