父が生きていた頃は神社で色々なもようしがあり楽しかった
今ではできない木登りや木の上に家のようなものを作って遊びました(^.^)

創建は大同2年(807年)
坂上田村麻呂が東夷征討の戦勝祈願をしたそうです。
伝承が伝わっており
土の神でもある埴安姫命を祀っている関係上、土を焼き瓦として使う事は土の命を断つ事に繋がり、神の怒りを買うと言われていて、この地区では土瓦は使わないそうで、以前神社を土瓦で葺いたそうですが一晩にして瓦が全部落ちてしまったそうです。
又、松の木も植えてはいけないと言われており、それは神社に生えていた松の木の葉っぱで埴安姫命が目を突いてしまい怪我をしてしまったそうで、圷地区では家の敷地内には松は植えない様になったそうです。
神社の入り口は気をつけないと見過ごすかもしれません、境内は清らかで静かな雰囲気の古社です。
