a	ashitaka1188 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無人駅で駅舎すらなく駅としての規模はかなり小さいが、新府城跡や新府桃源郷が近く観光地としての印象が強い。駅からは八ヶ岳や南アルプスの鳳凰山辺りが良く見えて眺望が良い。春はサクラやモモの花が近くで咲くのでとても綺麗で、それを目的に訪れる人も多いみたいだけど、列車だけでなくマイカーで訪れる人もかなり多いみたいね。もちろん特急は通過するけど、普通列車は少なくとも1時間に1本は停車するようなので、身延線の閑散区間のように2時間近く列車を待つ…というような事態にはならないみたい。 It is an unmanned station and the scale of the station is quite small without even a station building, but the ruins of Shinpu Castle and Shinfu Togenkyo are nearby, giving a strong impression as a tourist destination. From the station, you can see Yatsugatake and the phoenix mountain area of the Southern Alps, and the view is good. In spring, cherry blossoms and peaches bloom nearby, so it's very beautiful, and it seems that many people visit for that purpose, but it seems that there are quite a lot of people who visit not only by train but also by car. Of course, limited express trains pass, but at least one regular train stops every hour, so it doesn't seem like you'll have to wait for the train for nearly two hours like in the off-road section of the Minobu Line.
