取った化石を入れるのは、コンビニ袋だとすぐ破けるので、小さめのバケツがあると便利です。
現地には、あずま屋と手洗い水道があるだけです。
道路のすぐ向かい側には、公衆トイレと１０台ほどの駐車場があります。自動販売機は近くにありません。
さらに南に50メートルほど離れたところには、恐竜のオブジェが置かれた広い駐車場もあります。ここの「うどん さざなみ」は営業していませんでした。
