毎年6月6日はここの歓喜天像特別開扉、同日に秋篠寺の大元帥明王と唐招提寺の鑑真和上像の特別公開もありますので、頑張れば回れます。
It's a little confusing but it's an idyllic place.
Every year on June 6th there is a special opening of the delightful statue here, and on the same day there is also a special release of Akishino Temple's Daimoto Tatsuakio and Toshodaiji's Kanshin Kazuma statue, so you can go around if you do your best.

真言宗篠尾山「常光寺」
本尊:大聖不動明王立像(宝山湛海作)
江戸時代前期に再興され、宝山寺の奥の院とも呼ばれ、春、秋の法要には
多くの参拝者が列を成したと言われている。明治時代の廃仏毀釈の折に廃寺となり、
建造物や寺宝も散逸し、その際にはこのお堂などは私学「常光寺学舎」
(現在の平城小学校の前身)となっていた。
昭和28年(1953年)再興されて復活、本堂は仮本堂、6月6日のみ開扉される。
象頭の男性神と女性が抱き合った姿の「歓喜天像」の参拝者は多い。
常光寺で「「歓喜天特別開扉」が行われる6月6日は、秋篠寺「大元師明王像」、
唐招提寺「鑑真和上像」の公開日にもなっている。

近くに住んでいながら、お目にかかっていなかったので、コロナが治まることを期待して、来年を楽しみにしたいと思います。
