お	おくまさま on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この場所は,明治時代末期に, 地域の人々が製粉や精米などに役立てるため、力を合わせて作った共同水車があったところです。水車を回している川は「逆川」といい、深沙大王堂裏の湧水池から流れてきています。水量は今よりも多く、直径4メートルほどの水車を回すことがでたそうです。水車は、畑で麦やアワキビなどの雑穀が作られなくなった昭和 30 年頃に使われなくなりましたが、平成4(1992)年に社会教育施設として新たに再現されました。この水車は胸掛け式といって、水が大輪の胸の部分にかかるようになっています。水車小屋の中には米つき日と粉ひき臼が備えてあり、事前申込みにより実際に精米,製粉の作業をすることができるそうです。無料で見学できますよ。 At the end of the Meiji era, there was a communal water wheel that the local people made together to help mill and polish rice.
