I went to Kyoto during the Spring Kyoto private cultural property special exhibition. The Oori-Kan Emaki, which has been written by Toho Fujiwara, and the "Flower and Bird Map" of Kano Denshin are well preserved and impressive. The garden was also very well maintained according to the scale of the temple, and the flower of Asevi was good.

It may be a temple with a long history, but it can't be helped because of the abandoned poster. I just saw the shrine next to the parking lot.

It is said that Eishi Hino, the fourth shogun of the Muromachi Shogunate, was built to mourn the imperial bodhi by her husband's will. Also known as Usugumo Imperial Palace, Takeno Imperial Palace, and Karasuma Imperial Palace. The "flower arrangement, Usugumo Gosho style flower arrangement" that was born from the flower basket folding screen that is handed down in this temple is still inherited.

The monzeki nun of the Rinzai sect. It is usually closed and will be visited at the time of the special autumn release. Also known as the thin cloud palace. According to the guide, the history is as follows. The founder of Jijuin was Jijuin Jyoken Takeniwa Nun Daizenshi, commonly known as Eiko, the daughter of Sukeyasu Hino. Mrs. Yoshimochi Ashikaga, Shogun Muromachi. It is said that it was erected in 1428 to mourn the bodhi of the imperial family in the will of his late father after he died. And it was called "Takeno Gosho" by taking one letter of the founder. After that, it was once abolished, but Souji-in, which had a relationship with him in the Taisho era, submitted a name change notice to Kyoto Prefecture with the temple name as Jiju-in, and it was revived. According to the notification at that time, the former site of Jijuin was located at Kyoto Prefectural Ohki High School. The place where this high school is located is close to the Imperial Palace, and it is the site of Hojoji Temple built by Fujiwara no Michinaga, and Murasaki Shikibu must have spent it there. Souji-in was given the name of "Thin Cloud Imperial Palace" by Emperor Shoko, but Jiju-in has taken over the name.
