★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御湯神社の下に旧岩井小学校の跡地があり、その校庭だった広い位置に｢岩井廃寺」が創建されていました。
白鳳時代から平安初期の古代仏教文化を表す史跡です。
塔跡は柱を建てた石の窪みや仏舎利を納めた石の丸い穴等が(鬼の碗)と呼ばれており、校庭を造成時に鐙(あぶみ)瓦等も発見されました。
｢岩井廃寺塔跡」は元校門を入りすぐ左にコンパクトに集められています。小学校に通っていた頃には遊び時間や下校時に(鬼のお碗)の上に座ったり、飛び乗ったりしていたのを先生に見つかり大目玉を喰らった事がありましたっけ。久しぶりに来てみました。
The former Iwai Elementary School site was located under the Miyu Shrine, and the “Iwai Abandoned Temple” was built in a wide area that was the school ground.
It is a historical site representing the ancient Buddhist culture of the Hakusu period to the early Heian period.
The ruins of the tower are called the pits of the stone where the pillars were built and the round holes of the stone where the stucco were put (the pot of demons).
The "Iwai Abandoned Temple Tower" is compactly collected on the left immediately after entering the former school gate. When I was in elementary school, I found something that I was sitting on or jumping on at a playtime or going to school when I was out of school, and I found out that I had a big hit with my teacher. I came for the first time in a while.
