★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 景色が良いので思わず駐車してしまいました。写真だとあまり壮大さとか伝わらないんだよね。初夏でしたが、空気はヒンヤリしてました。
 The scenery is good, so I parked it unexpectedly. Photos don't really convey the grandeur. It was early summer, but the air was dry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 渋峠の中でも比較的大きい駐車場だと思います。小休止で利用するのも渋峠から見える山々を撮影するのも良いです。ただ、危険で迷惑なので道路にはみ出して風景を撮影するのはやめてもらいたいです。

You can see the plume in good condition. The bathtub is hidden in the shadow and cannot be seen. The high mountain in the back is Mt. Asama.

自転車で行った時はここからもうひと息で最高地点だ、頑張れ！！
「標高2119m、空気は下界の1/2」と書いてある看板がある。しかし、どこをどう調べてみても富士山の山頂である3776mでさえ半分とは言われていない。富士山頂で下界の2/3である。富士山でさえ半分以上あるのに、富士山の5合目にも満たない、たかが2119mで半分とは言い過ぎにも程がある。
空気が半分の標高は5000mである。
と、いうことで。この看板は嘘っぱちであると考えられる。
自転車で登ってきて、俺は空気が半分の中で自転車をこいでいる。スゴイ！！と、思っていたら大間違いなので注意すべし。
この地点で高山病になったら、ある意味スゴイ！！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 草津白根山方向です。山肌からは噴気が確認できます。活火山であることを思い知らされます?再びあの湯釜を見たいですね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国道最高地点のちょい手前の駐車場です。8:30くらいについて一台も停まって無く1時間ほどボーっとしてました。景色最高です。この時期でも朝方冷んやりしました。ライダーは服装注意ですね。
It is a parking lot just before the highest point of the national highway. About 8:30, no one stopped and I was dumb for about an hour. The scenery is the best. Even at this time, it was cold in the morning. Riders should be careful about their clothes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ バイクがコーナーを曲がる時の基本姿勢は『リーン・ウィズ』
シートに跨る上半身とバイクの倒した角度が一直線上になります。
大型バイクでは『リーン・イン』（ハング・オン）やオフロードバイクでは『リーン・アウト』も多用しますけど。
バイクの巡航速度にもよりますけど（あっ法定速度ですね）カーブを曲がって気持ち良い！と思える道がこのカーブ。お勧めです。
此処と匹敵するのが美ヶ原の『ダブルヘアピンカーブ』
まぁ日本全国何処にでも在るんですけどね。気持ちいいカーブって。
