★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 県境ホテルとして有名。初めてランチ前の休憩で利用しました。
1Fがレストランと喫茶になっていて、喫茶店が群馬県、食堂が長野県っていう具合に、面白いレイアウトになっています。
 Famous as a prefectural border hotel. I used it for the first time during a break before lunch.
The 1st floor is a restaurant and a coffee shop, and the coffee shop is in Gunma prefecture and the cafeteria is in Nagano prefecture, so it has an interesting layout.

渋峠は国道の日本最高標高点、2172mもあるんですね。
ここには群馬県と長野県との県境にある渋峠ホテルがあったがコロナ禍か閉まっていました。
この県境のホテルは我々より若干若い世代の原田知世さん主演のスキーに連れてってのロケ地だそうです。
I drove from Shiga Pass to Shiga Kogen.
Shibutoge has the highest altitude in Japan, 2172m, on the national highway.
There was a Shibutoge Hotel on the prefectural border between Gunma and Nagano prefectures, but it was closed due to corona.
This prefectural border hotel is said to be a location for skiing starring Tomoyo Harada, a generation a little younger than us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 渋峠でスキーした時、昼食を頂きました。窓からゲレンデが見えて、山の写真が飾ってあり、とても雰囲気のある素敵な山のホテルです。食事も美味しかったです。ホテルの前では、犬のマーカスくんが人気者で可愛かったです。
I had lunch when I skied at Shibutoge. It is a nice mountain hotel with a very atmospheric atmosphere, with a view of the slopes from the window and pictures of the mountains. The food was delicious. In front of the hotel, the dog Marcus was popular and cute.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お昼前に入りましたが、静かで落ち着いた雰囲気のレストランです。
その後も混み合うこともなく、暖炉の火を眺めながらゆったりとした時間が流れます。
山小屋の雰囲気で切り株のテーブルや椅子、古いスキー板やアンティーク家具が心地よいです。
I entered before noon, but it is a restaurant with a quiet and calm atmosphere.
After that, it will not be crowded and you can relax while watching the fire of the fireplace.
Stump tables and chairs, old skis and antique furniture are comfortable in the atmosphere of a mountain lodge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長野県と群馬県にまたがる県境のお宿だそうです。スキー滑ってて休憩に寄ったので道路がなかった為に県境を実感出来ず。でも日本国道最高地点の到達証明書発行所があり、つい購入してしまいました。1枚100円で絵柄違い5種類ありました。コーヒー飲んでマーカス(犬)にも癒されました。
It is said to be an inn on the prefectural border that straddles Nagano and Gunma prefectures. I couldn't feel the prefectural border because there was no road because I skied and stopped for a break. However, there is an office that issues a certificate of arrival at the highest point on the Japanese national highway, so I just bought it. There were 5 different patterns for 100 yen each. I drank coffee and was healed by Marcus (dog).
