★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well its Ippudo, so its pretty much awesome, but make sure to collect those Gyoza tickets.
As a foreigner you have to feel adventurous and spicy ones. I forget the name of the Ramen, but the one which looks like my picture below. Put in some of the red ginger as taste-bud foreplay. The spice hits you! On the other hand, if you feel more traditional Tonkatsu style, try the creamy soupy one, the taste of which is overwhelming. You just can't believe you had that. Get one Onsen-Tamago with it, its worth it.
Do remember you are eating 800+ kCal including the soup per Ramen meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our second visit to this exact store. I remembered during the first visit, their non-spicy version (shiromaru classic) was absolutely delicious and was better. It is still tasty, with the rich broth and firm noodles. It still taste a little like wanton mee to me.
On the other hand, the Ippudo karaka, is weirdly like the ramen version of Mala noodles. Said to be the spiciest level of all types of ramen, it gives a numb aftertaste. We didn’t like this at all.
Gyoza is still cute-sized and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spot on. This place serves well seasoned ramen e.i. spicy ramen, hard to find in Tokyo. I choose level 4 out of 5 which was spicy and definitely doable. Next will try level 5. Overall great service and very attentive staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hakata Ippudo Ramen, Asakusa, Taito, keeps up with the chain policy of being professional and consistent with especially its Ramen.
They have an english menu, for travelers like us, so ordering is easy. Regular condiments like pickled ginger, chilli etc available at every table.
But i have to say, the pan fried gyoza were smaller than any gyoza that i have eaten during my stay.
