駅の山側の道は、旧西国街道で、古い家や石碑が点在しています。
Located between JR stations, the distance between both stations is long for Hiroden lines.
The road on the mountain side of the station is the former Seikoku Kaido, dotted with old houses and stone monuments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広島電鉄宮島線の駅。国道2号と西国街道を連絡する踏切のそばに立地。踏切はJR山陽本線、広島電鉄宮島線を跨ぐ。間が悪いとなかなか渡れない。
近くに井口高校、井口中学校、西部埋立第2公園、名勝小己斐島などあり。
小己斐島は、海の一部とともに昭和初期の埋立時に取り残された、かこう岩の小島で珍しい景観を呈している。また、昔から井口明神を祀る聖域でもある。
西部埋立第2公園は、小己斐島を含むかなり広い公園で滑り台、ブランコなどの遊具が充実している。
Station of Hiroshima Electric Railway Miyajima Line. It is located near the railroad crossing connecting National highway No. 2 and West country highway. Railroad crossing straddles JR Sanyo Main Line and Hiroshima Dentetsu Miyajima Line. I can not cross easily if the time is bad.
There are Iguchi high school, Iguchi junior high school, western reclamation land second park, the scenic spot Okomishima Island nearby.
Ogiso Island presents a rare landscape on a granite small island left behind during the early Showa period, along with a part of the sea. In addition, it is a sanctuary that sings Iguchi Myojin from long ago.
The Western Reclamation Park No. 2 is a fairly large park including Kogumijima Island, and has playground equipment such as slides and swings.
