Simple restaurant with good food and the most wonderfully, friendly lady. Little English spoken but easy ordering by pointing at fake food. Had the soba and udon with egg, great prices at 600-550 yen each. Highly recommend after climbing Fushini-inari temple.

Delicious and fair price. The service is very good. I like this kind of old restaurant in Japan. I ordered Odon noodle with vegetable and pork. It was good I like it a lot. Recommend you to try it.

Extremely affordable and tasty udon noodles and courteous staff! There were more locals than tourists. I would recommend to have lunch there after your Fushimi Inari Hike!

Amazing place just behind the Main Street towards Fushimiinari. Not like the restaurants on the Main Street, this place has authentic noodles (Soba and Udon) for just around 700yen. Vegetarian dishes as well! They do have English menus however don’t expect the people here to speak English. Very nice people though.

Far enough off the main street from the Fushimi-Inari Shrine that it doesn’t attract a lot of tourists, this is a classic Japanese udon restaurant specializing in the udon style of the area—so don’t expect tempura, do expect an especially flavorful soup with a perfectly poached egg and tofu skin. It’s a small shop run by an older couple. The noodles are fresh and tender. The broths are all delicious. They are very friendly and have an English menu that helps navigate the choices. It’s a straightforward menu. The udon is delicious! Great place to eat after summiting Mt. Inari.
