The owner and chefs are sure to keep us feel welcomed and entertained throughout our dinner. Thank you very very much for the ride to train station, great hospitality, wonderful experience, superb maguro, overall dinner is very delicious. Definitely coming back for more. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience. Chef asked us our budget and preferences and prepared an excellent meal. You can also choose individual items from a menu with pictures and English names. They won first prize in a Kansai regional prize and it certainly shows. 100% worth the trip although if you arrive late they may have sold out of some of the more popular dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing night. The family was kind and courteous. We ordered a variety of sashimi and each piece was excellent. The son sat with us during dinner and we learned about him and his family. We became quick friends and he even drove us to the train station. Unforgettable experience and I hope more people have a chance to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great family owned restaurant! The owners and their son are very generous and kind, we had a wonderful time chatting with them. The fish cuts are large and the quality is excellent, one of the best experiences in Kyoto and a very local experience that's away from the tourist crowds. If you are in the neighborhood (or not) it's worth the walk. Hisayoshi and his parents are wonderful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience in a quiet suburb of Kyoto. Pleasant ~10 min walk from train station. We went for a late lunch (3p on a thurs) and got what felt like VIP treatment. The omakase style preparation (choose between ¥4k, 5k, 6k, 8k per person) was delicious and the family who owns the restaurant made us feel like we were their personal guests. Walked away with big smiles on our faces..100% recommended.
