Originally, the headquarters was set up, but with the relocation of the headquarters, there was a problem with the vacant house, so it seems that the 14th Music Corps has moved in. The second floor is the material space for General Nogi. It seems that it has been decided to rebuild it, and although it is aging, it cannot be repaired. It seems that the design is the same after rebuilding.

A valuable building that is still used today. There are materials on the way to capture Lushun, commanded by General Noriyuki Nogi, and the current Ground Self-Defense Force. Most visitors do not expect to take an hour. Also on display are retired tanks and aircraft along the road leading from the gate to the building. I was rather more interested here because I saw it up close. Upon entry or exit, you must notify the SDF next to the gate of your name, contact information, entry and exit times. The SDF personnel who responded were bright, refreshing and pleasant. Admission is free.

Precious 75-type self-propelled 105 howitzers that have been produced in small numbers are on display. If you have any questions, please ask the guards or public relations near the Yingmen, members of the building.

Originally it seems that advance reception is required, but when I visited directly on the day, the SDF gatekeeper immediately accepted it on the day. The building is very old and the materials are not surprising, but the content of the Lushun Port blockage operation is the center. I think that the fans will enjoy it because of the military uniform at that time. While looking at the exhibition, SDF personnel are watching from a distance, but since it is inside the garrison, it seems that it is a rule to watch until outsiders come out.

The former Japanese Army 11th Division HQ is used as an exhibition facility. On the first floor there is a toilet, and on the second floor there are exhibits related to Shogi Nogi, the Russo-Japanese War, the Pacific War, and the Navy and Self-Defense Force. Outside are retired aircraft (F-86D and 3 helicopters) and a total of 5 GSDF vehicles. The tour is free, but reception is required. Is it roughly thirty minutes when walking from the station?

You can see valuable materials of General Maresuke Nogi who was active in the Russo-Japanese War. General Nogi played an active part in the Siege of Port Arthur in the Russo-Japanese War, and at that time it was common sense to execute the enemy general who was taken prisoner, but he paid high respect to the other party and returned it to Russia safely. These actions were highly evaluated not only in Japan but also in the newspapers of Russia, which was an opponent. However, he regretted having killed many of his soldiers in the Siege of Port Arthur and was trying to seppuku, but the Emperor Meiji stopped it and he said he would not allow him to die until he died. I was told and canceled my seppuku. And when Emperor Meiji died, as the word says, he was harassed afterwards. It may seem a little fanatical to do so, but at that time there were still things that could be called Bushido spirit and Yamato soul, and the authority of the emperor was different, so it is important to estimate it with a modern sense. I don't think it can be done. Also, regardless of whether it is good or bad, isn't it possible for modern Japanese people to commit murder because they are sentenced to death? After that, General Nogi was buried in the state funeral, and the place name Nogizaka, which is famous for Nogizaka46, was created after that name.
