★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful place to wander through in the day and away from the crowds, a few monuments have English translations too! Definitely come back at night time to see the rows of tiny bars alive!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting contrast to the busy Dotonbori tourist area as this place seems to be a secret alley of shops and restaurant that gives an old-time Japan charm, it's almost like being on a movie set! The strip is set in cobblestone paved path and it features a minor temple called Hozenji, for which the street was named after.
There's a small stone Buddhist statue now beautifully covered with moss, thanks to a long tradition of people pouring water into the statue as they make a wish.
