Very easy to do laundry there and borrow umbrellas, etc. Unfortunately, like many old hotels, many rooms smell of smoke (even non-smoking). However, the staff are very considerate and try to accommodate guests needs. Located not far from a hip area of the city, several parks, a subway stop, and Tohoku University.
